About Me

Hi I’m Lisa and I’m the owner and instructor at SOLO Driver Training (formally known as Lisa's Driving School)

I am a fully qualified Government Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) and I am passionate about road safety.

I decided to train to become a driving instructor because I wanted a job with real satisfaction and there is nothing better than seeing someone pass their driving test and knowing the opportunities it can bring. Or a trainee qualify as an ADI and launch a new career helping others.

I was also always being told by friends and work colleagues that I was a calm and relaxed type of person with the patience of a saint and the ability to coach new skills to team members.

I was fortunate to be trained by RED in the latest adult coaching and training techniques so you can be assured the training I give will be of the highest standard. After gaining considerable experience with RED I decided to go independent and continue to personally develop my skills by attending courses.

 I have recently completed my Train the Trainer course allowing me to help drivers become PDI's/ADI's and Standards check training for existing ADI's.

Lessons are always conducted in a calm, friendly and relaxed manner as I firmly believe in making pupils/trainees feel at ease during lessons.
